Vegan Street: Your Go-To Destination for Comforting Plant-Based Meals in Calgary

Really impressed with the plant-based comfort food at Vegan Street! We had the Mac n Cheeze, Crispy soy curls and grizzly floats. They were all fantastic and left us feel satisfied without feeling heavy or guilty! The staff were such a lovely and warm bunch who added to the wonderful experience we had. Will visit again!!

Great vegan spot. Most recently tried the vegan Caesar drink, Caesar salad and the stampede special. The salad never disappoints. I would recommend any dish with the swap chicken, service was phenomenal!

The kalamari was very good, especially the tartar sauce. We wish we had more sauce, but it was good. The mac & cheese was great, but not my favorite. The fromage sauce is probably made with coconut milk and cashew. The plates were looking good, and the staff was super gentle. There is nice decor in the restaurant. The ambiance should be great in the summer eating on the terrace.

If you are vegetarian or vegan this is a must visit place for you. I’ve been here a couple of times and have always loved the food. Their fish tacos are a must order item for us. The guava and the fuzzy peach margaritas are also really delicious. I have tried the chicken wings, gyozas and the fish tacos and enjoyed all of them very much.

This is such a great spot. We tried their brunch and loved the food. We’re not vegan, and can’t wait to come back. The interior is so cozy and the staff is attentive and friendly.

Fully vegan restaurant. We ordered watermelon mint margaritas (not pictured) as well as strawberry margarita and coconut margarita. The watermelon mint were light and refreshing. The strawberry one was delicious, tasted like it had fresh strawberries in it. The coconut one was creamy and tasty. We got the jalapeño cheese dip was flavourful and a little spicy. For tacos we ordered the chimichurri beaf, which was our favourite item we ordered of everything, the seitan was seasoned very well and went perfectly with the chimichurri. The no fish taco was made with hearts of palm. It was flavoured well and was perfectly crispy. The buffalo chicken taco was tender and not too spicy. The server was very friendly and made great suggestions on what to order. Will be returning here in the future, highly recommend checking Vegan Street out!

For someone who isn’t a fan of anything vegetarian, Vegan Street became an exception. Their food is just superb! I love their Calamari, tacos and the mushroom burger was definitely a winner.

Reviews says it all... It is one of the best vegan restaurants, have been so far, ..... Good options for having a good 3 course meal here... Nice ambiance!!! The brownie and ice cream combination was good ... little too sweet, but way better than any other options usually available in vegan retaurants I will recommend it for anyone trying to explore a good restaurant, whether vegan or another type.... You won't get disappointed Great option for 3 or 5th date.. Keep it up, guys
